Christmas Cards

So I can't wait to send out christmas cards to all of my little preschoolers and their families.  They love to hear personal stories about my 2 boys.  The designs I'm considering are

I love this one because I can put indivdual pictures on each boy and one of them together.  My christmas tree at home it peppermint theme so this one really fits my personality!!!

I also LUV this one

I love the fun letters!!  And it would really let my boys be the stars of the card.  My pictures are black and white and my boys are wearing black and white shirts.  I think this would be precious!

I also, love this one, so elegant, yet fun.

Shutterfly has the cutest designs and the best quality.  I have used them for other projects in the past.  I am thinking of making photo books for the kids in my class as a end of the year present.

Let me know, which card you like the best!!!!  Be sure to go to shutterfly and pick out your christmas cards.  And if you want to participate in 50 free photocards for bloggers go to http://www.shutterfly.com/.

Christmas crafts

So I've been brainstorming crafts to do with my kiddos for Christmas this is my list so far.  Feel free to reply with any unique ideas.

-Christmas angels (upside down foot for body and hands for wings in white paint)  I think these will be pretty on blue paper.  Also, glittery pipecleaner halos.  The kids LOVE glitter and secretly so do I!!!!!
-Popsicle stick frame with peppermints glued on it.  *seal the peppermints first.
-Cinnamon ornaments-1 c. Cinnamon, 1 c. applesause, 2 tbls. glue.  Mix together and roll out 1/4 in thick and cut with christmas cookie cutters.  Bake 200 for 20 minutes.  Then paint and sequin them up.  ***The best part-they smell like cinnamon for years!!!!!
-We are going to decorate paper bags and wrap our ornaments in tissue for the kids to give their parents for a christmas gift.
-We will made rudolph placemats for our party by tracing the child's foot and having them paint it and adding antlers out of their hands.  The nose will be a pompom.  I will laminate the placemats.
-Also, on the day of the  party we will decorate grahm cracker gingerbread houses with LOTS of candy and royal icing!!!

Letter C week

This week we are working on letter C.  We made crabs out of a letter C and glue then on paper with sand and sea shells.  I also brought my sons hermit crab, Crabby.  The kids love it.
For math, a gave each child some pennies (one Cent) and let them come to many Candy Shoppe and buy candy.  We are also having a Carnival complete with games and prizes.  The best part is the Carnival food-cotton candy, carmel apples, and corn dogs.

Stay tuned for Christmas craft ideas!
